Hi, beauties! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect leopard print dress for weeks now and I finally found one that I just had to have. Animal prints of all variations are all the rage for Fall and Winter and I’ve purchased a number of different pieces but this one is by far the best one. I am also hitting myself over the head because this Summer I donated a silk leopard shirt that I had for years (at least 10) because I never wore it. Oh well, someone is out there looking very stylish. I am on the hunt to find one just like it. It’s crazy how fashion really does repeat itself if you wait long enough!
THE WRAP DRESS
The iconic Diane Von Furstenberg put the “wrap” in wrap dress and I’m so thankful she did, because wrap dresses are my favorite! I feel they are the most flattering dress style for any figure. I love that no matter your size, you can adjust it as needed. The way the material wraps around the body just looks so chic.
Here is why I had to have this dress— the material!! It is not just the leopard print that is so appealing. In addition to that, it is made of a velvet blush drapey material. It is super soft and comfy and it looks so good. I promise the pictures do not do it justice. The dress is even more beautiful in person. The fabric adds richness and depth to the leopard print that makes is stand out from just plain animal print.
THE MINI BAG
Mini bag is right in line with animals print as being on trend this season. Forget carrying your over-sized bags, minis are in! You can unload those bags and just grab your credit card, cell phone, lipstick, and car keys, because that is just about all that will fit in it. But you will look so good carrying it. I have been crushing on this forest green mini bag in particular. I am naturally drawn to deep, dark colors so this was a no-brainer for me. This mini purse can be carried by the handle or it comes with a strap and can be worn over the shoulder or as a crossbody.
Winter is coming! Make sure you are ready! Furry vests are a go-to for me this season. You are going to see a lot more of it on the blog and my Instagram timeline so get ready. I think I have more faux fur vests than I do coats— I love them that much. It was one of the items I couldn’t wait to wear once it got cold enough.
