There are no real rules to the blogger game. There ARE rules to the business side of things and making money via your blog but we will get to those details in an upcoming post. In the meantime, especially if you are just getting started, just blog your little heart. Find your niche and stick to it. Tomorrow is the last day of my 28-Day Blogging Challenge and there are 3 major things that I have learned on this journey:
I've decided what my blog schedule will be
Blogging every single day is unrealistic for a blogger. The blog challenge required blogging everyday in order to get in the mode of blogging regularly. They say anything you do for 21 days straight becomes a habit. So even if you did not participate in this challenge you should do your own 30 day blog challenge just to get into the habit and flow of blogging. Moving forward after the challenge I plan to blog twice a week with a new blog post twice a week--every Tuesday and Thursday. That is 8 blog posts a month and totally doable! Depending on how things go I may consider adding a post on Sundays.
I've decided to change my blogging title to Life & Style blogger
The truth is blogging beautifully is a business blog for bloggers first. The goal is to provide resources, products, tips and mentorships to teach you how to build your blog, get unstuck, and make money. But I am also a blogger and will continue to blog about the business side of things while I also incorporate my love of Style Blogging. Style blogging is also a part of my business because I get paid via affiliate links every time a purchase is made via my affiliate links. More to come on this soon.
I've determined what my blog pattern is going to be
Blogging daily and reviewing my blog analytics has given me the statistics I need to determine the best days to blog according to my website traffic. The best flow for my blog will be a balance of blogging tips, business topics, personal topics, and style blogging.
Keep Blogging Beautifully,
